• Caskets
  One of the many facets of any service, the casket, is available in a number of styles and may be constructed of either metal or wood. We support and encourage families to personalize the funeral in every way possible; one way is with the casket. Every casket can be personalized with a special cap panel, which sets into the top of the open part of the casket. Many caskets may be personalized with laser engraving and some come with keepsake end corners. Plus, as always, you may build your own casket for the ultimate way to add that personal touch.
  
  
• Cremation-oriented caskets are very similar to the traditional style caskets, but simpler in nature and design, and can be personalized in many of the same ways.  Their label implies that they are only able to be used for cremation services, however this could not be further from the truth.  Most cremation caskets may be used for either cremation services or for traditional services.  Only cremation containers are not deemed suitable for burial purposes.
  
  
• Solid Wood and Veneer
  Many families are drawn to the warmth and beauty of wood caskets. But the higher price of solid hardwoods can put them out of reach. Today, there are more affordable choices with quality craftsmanship with premium wood veneers and engineered wood composites for the look and finish of solid hardwood.
  
  Not only does the veneer manufacturing process offer improved structural integrity and eliminate many of the defects found naturally in wood, it permits far more efficient use of the resource. Because 95% of the tree is now usable, waste is significantly reduced.
  
  They are available in a variety of popular wood stains and a full range of personalization features, making them a popular selection for today’s families. With these new veneer caskets, warmth, beauty, affordability, and eco-friendly construction add up to exciting new choices.
  
  
• Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel
  Stainless steel and carbon steel caskets are available in a variety of grades, finishes, colors and styles. Steel caskets offer a range of thicknesses from 16 gauge (thicker) to 20 gauge (thinner).  The most economical are 20 gauge caskets. 
  
  
• Bronze and Copper
  Bronze and Copper caskets are also available in a variety of weights, colors and styles.  These caskets are often the most expensive caskets and are not among our usual offerings.

Burial Vaults / Grave Liners
In most areas of the country, no state or local law makes you buy a container to surround the casket or urn in the grave. However, in the Jaffrey area, all of the cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy these requirements. These are made out of concrete and can be a non-protective grave liner, an unlined burial vault, or a lined burial vault.
