Albert "Hippie" Leith

Albert Leith “Hippie” a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Son of Omar Leith and Rita Thibault. 

Albert passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on June 2, 1956, in Nashua, New Hampshire, Albert was a skilled handyman known for his ability to build and fix anything with his remarkable craftsmanship, his cut off jean shorts and his sense of humor. 

Survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Leith, whom he married in Greenville, New Hampshire, in 1983. Together, they built a life they loved. Albert’s big heart and genuine kindness reached everyone who knew him. He was deeply devoted to his family, including his daughters Samantha Leith and Trisha Michael. His love extended to his son in law Andrew Michael, grandkids, Anthony, Olivia, and his grand dog Koda, who was a constant source of joy for him. 

Albert is also leaving behind four brothers and a sister, as well as aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. 

His spirit of generosity and his knack for making things work were matched only by his capacity to love and care for those around him. His sense of humor brought light and laughter into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Albert will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Albert's life will be held on September 7, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River St, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
