Alice M. Lowell

Alice M. Lowell, died Saturday March 8, 2008, at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Jaffrey.
 
She was born May 9, 1919 in Shoreham, VT, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Jabot) Beyette. She received her schooling in Shoreham.  In 1939 she married Forrest E. Lowell.
 
Alice dedicated her life to her family. She took great pride in her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking and collecting recipes.
 
Alice was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Middlebury.
 
She is survived by her daughters. Linda Shubert and her husband John (Jack) Shubert of Chelmsford, MA, and Susan Gray and her husband David of Rindge, NH; her brother Raymond Beyette Sr. and sister Freda Pentek both of Proctor, VT; three grandchildren, Laura Lavrin, Eric Shubert and Matthew Gray; three great-grandchildren, Landon and Maren Shubert and Gavyn Blanchard-Gray, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
 
She was predeceased by her former husband, Forrest Lowell, sisters Helen Walker and Ethel Knight, half-brothers Victor, Frank and Louis Beyette, and grandson Benjamin Gray.
