Shrewsbury, MA – Ambrosina (Ann) J. Coache, 89, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Marlborough, MA and Rindge, NH, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 6th, 2013.
Ambrosina, the daughter of the late Pietro (Peter) and Antonetta Diani, was born in Hudson on August 4th 1924. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Coache Jr. of Marlborough. Ambrosina was raised and educated in Hudson, attending St. Michael’s Academy. She worked as a secretary at Lapointe in Hudson, Temple’s Law Office in Marlborough, Marlborough Savings Bank, and, after moving to Rindge, NH in 1977, as an Administrative Assistant at Millipore Corporation in Jaffrey, NH. Ambrosina was a talented hand painter, working together with Arthur with his woodworking skills, they became well known in southern NH and beyond for their beautiful crafts. Ambrosina and Arthur moved back to Marlborough MA, to the New Horizons assisted living community in 2010. Her most recent residence was at Shrewsbury Crossings assisted living community in Shrewsbury, MA. She and Arthur were long time members of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlborough, MA and later at St. Patrick’s Parish in Jaffrey, NH.
Ambrosina is survived by her children, Paul A. Coache and his wife Jean of Tucson, AZ, - Anne M. Kosh and her husband Mitchell of Wilton, CT, - Frances M. Coache of North Attleboro, MA, - Dennis J. Coache and his wife Theresa of Sterling, MA, - James P. Coache and his wife Barbara of Berlin, MA, twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Rose Diani of Shrewsbury, MA and a brother, Francis P. Diani and his wife Fran of Goleta, CA, - and a sister-in-law, Dorothy J. (Coache) Collins of Las Vegas, NV, as well as several cousins, many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
At Ann's request, there will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 17 Washington Ct. Marlborough MA, on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
