Andrew W. Hackler, 55, of Lacy Road in Jaffrey, died quietly on Thursday October 25, 2012, in his own bed after a long struggle with failing health. Andrew was born in Keene, NH on December 10, 1956, the son of the late William and Laura (Slade) Hackler. He had attended schools in Laconia before moving to Jaffrey in the early 1980’s. He was a member of Monadnock Worksource and had worked in many capacities throughout Jaffrey and Peterborough. His favorite jobs were at the Peterborough Pizza Barn and Mr. Mike’s. He also enjoyed landscaping and caretaking in and around the Monadnock Plaza in Peterborough. Andrew had retired in December of 2004. Andrew loved music, work, both at home and in the community, spending time with friends, and the simple pleasures of life. His infectious smile and hearty laughter filled the room and many hearts as well. Andrew is survived by his guardian Tina Charbonneau of Peterborough, his brother and sister, and his family of care providers and friends at Perfect Peace in Jaffrey.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey.

Family and friends will honor and remember Andrew’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) in Jaffrey on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:15 AM.
A Mass in memory of Andrew will immediately follow calling hours at 10:30 AM in Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey, celebrated by Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, Pastor.
