Ann Isabelle Pelkey

Ann Isabelle Pelkey, 82, of Fitzwilliam, NH died peacefully at her home on October 17, 2018 after a period of declining health.

She was born on March 31, 1936 in Fitzwilliam, NH a daughter of the late Silas and Ruth (Streeter) White.

Ann was raised and educated locally and graduated from Keene High School in 1954. She later went on to work for over thirty-three years at Miniature Precision Bearings (MPB) in Keene in many different roles. Ann was a lifelong resident of Fitzwilliam and when she wasn’t working she was volunteering her time for her town with the Fitzwilliam Ambulance and Fire Department and the Fitzwilliam Garden Club. She and her husband Cal have owned and operated the Laurel Lake Campground since the early1970’s and enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona to escape the brutal NH winters.

Her true passion in her life was her family, as a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all.

In addition to her husband of more than 40 years, Calvin ‘Cal’ Linkenhoker, she is also survived by her 2 sons, Mike and his wife Wendy Pelkey, and Lenny Pelkey, Jr. and his wife Pam, all of Fitzwilliam; her step-daughter, Amanda Morales of Springfield, MA and her step-son, Andy Linkenhoker of Monson, MA; her brothers; Ralph White of Merrimack, NH and Dave White of Fitzwilliam, NH and her sister; Barbara Fredette of Oregon; her grandchildren, Brad Pelkey, Brandy Davis, Chris Bedard, Joe Pelkey and Alicia Pelkey; her great-grandchildren, Rachel Norman, Jasmynn Miller, Keira Arsenault, Lila Pelkey, Mason Pelkey, Kobe Bedard, Adrianna Bedard, Ava Ciaramella, Savannah Ciaramella and Jameson Bedard, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, (Rte. 202) Jaffrey, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Jadlocki officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery on Royalston Road in Fitzwilliam, NH.
