Anne L. Boudrieau

Anne L. Boudrieau, 74, of Old New Ipswich Road in Rindge died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a brief illness. Anne was born in Hinsdale, NH on September 12, 1938, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (McGrath) Bordner. She was a 1956 graduate of Hinsdale High School and graduated from Keene State College in 1960 with a degree in math education. Anne had recently been welcomed into the Golden Circle Society at Keene State College. Anne began teaching at Conant High School in Jaffrey where she met Dennis Boudrieau. They were married on May 19, 1962 and began a great journey through life together. She continued teaching math while Dennis served overseas in the U.S. Air Force. Anne taught middle school aged students in Karamursel, Turkey before returning stateside to Nebraska briefly and later settling down closer to home and teaching in Rindge and Peterborough. She then accepted the challenge of teaching High School level math at Murdock High School in Winchendon, Massachusetts where she eventually retired from after devoting over 40 years to educating children. Anne enjoyed all handcrafts, especially knitting and crocheting. She will be fondly remembered for her collections and for shopping enthusiastically until finding the best deals. Anne will be missed by her husband of over 50 years, Dennis H. Boudrieau, of Rindge; her daughter Vicki and husband John Mercier of Jaffrey; her 2 sons, Scott Boudrieau of Jaffrey and Dana and wife Meredith Boudrieau of Rindge; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; her four sisters, Evelyn Ebbighausen of Windsor, VT, Janice Field of Sunapee, NH, Frances Bristol of Gilford, VT, and Jackie Schnabel of Center Reach, NY; her brother Stephen Bordner of Hinsdale, NH, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne’s name to the Rindge Firefighters Association, PO Box 531, Rindge, NH 03461, or to the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance, PO Box 107, Jaffrey, NH 03452. Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) Jaffrey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
