Annette C. Vincent, 91, of Hanover and formerly of Jaffrey, died peacefully at the Hanover Terrace Nursing Home on Saturday, October 18, 2014 after a period of failing health.
Mrs. Vincent was born on June 17, 1923 in Manchester, NH, daughter of the late Emile and Eugenie (Houle) Dumontet. She moved to Jaffrey with her family at an early age and was educated at Jaffrey Grade School and Conant High School. She later married Merlin Arney of Indianapolis who moved to Jaffrey where they settled to raise a family.
Mrs. Vincent worked for several local businesses including the Monadnock Ledger, Surprenant, D.D. Bean, and NCR. She was trained in printing and publishing setup and most recently worked for Yankee Publishing in Dublin, retiring after the death of her second husband.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could often be found enjoying conversation at a local coffee shop.
Her first husband, Merlin Arney, passed away in 1967. She later re-married Allen Vincent from Peterborough who also passed away in 1982.
She is survived by her son, Maurice Arney of Canaan NH, a daughter Linda Mahon of Dallas Texas, a sister Mabel Early of Keene NH, and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the family lot in Pine Hill Cemetery in Peterborough, NH. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish in Jaffrey.
