Barbara A. Hoyt, 45, of Rindge and formerly of Jaffrey, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 31, 2017 with her beloved dog Cosmo by her side.
Barbara was born on May 18, 1971 in Somerville, MA, the youngest daughter of Richard and Linda (Meserve) Bibeault. She attended Mason Elementary School, the former Appleton Academy and Mascenic High School.
Early on, Barbara was a young, single mom, who worked hard to raise her daughters in a loving home. Later, Barbara continued her education and became an LNA working for Autumn Hills Home Healthcare. For many years she enjoyed working at the Movie Gallery and Dunkin Donuts in Jaffrey and most recently had been a machine operator at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough.
Barbara’s most recent and greatest passion was her new grandson Leo. He brought great happiness to her life and she was looking forward to more grandchildren eventually. Barbara also loved riding her motorcycle and spending time at the beach with her girls. She had a great affection for dogs, especially her Cosmo.
In addition to her parents in Mason, Barbara is survived by her maternal grandmother, Eileen Meserve of Ayer, MA; her 4 daughters, Rachel Huard of Nashua, NH, Amber Hoyt of Jaffrey, NH, Ashley Hoyt of Chesterfield, NH and Brianna Hoyt of Troy, NH; Her grandson Leo Gelinas of Chesterfield; her sister, Linda LaBeau of Walpole, NH, her brother Richard Bibeault, Jr. of Merrimack, NH and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including her loving companion David Brouard, of Rindge, NH.
Calling Hours will be held from 4:00pm to 7pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH.
