Brenda J. Hoffman, 71, a resident of Keene, NH, died on Monday, February 16, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Brenda was born on May 8, 1943 in Utica, NY, a daughter of the late Ivan and Florence (Payseur) Hoffman. Brenda grew up in the Adirondacks of NY and Lowell MA. In 1974 Brenda worked for New England Business Service in Townsend MA as an order entry rep then went on to the Groton MA office and worked as an order entry supervisor until 1987. Brenda went on to work at Metropolitan Life Insurance and finished her working career as a senior contract clerk for Raytheon before retiring due to Multiple Sclerosis.
Brenda tried to live her life to the fullest even while battling MS. Brenda enjoyed getting visits from her children and grandchildren. One special thing Brenda did with assistance within the last few years of her life was she created a memories book and short movie for her grandkids, this book will be cherished by her family forever.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Ivan “Raymond” Hoffman and sisters, Edna (Hoffman) Allran, Frances (Hoffman) Kaknes. Phyllis (Hoffman) Dumka.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael and Jennifer Baranowski of Greenville, NH; Mark and Aimee Baranowski of Ashburnham, MA; Andrew and Magda Baranowski of Jaffrey, NH; her former husband and longtime friend, Conrad V. Baranowski of Townsend, MA; her 7 loving grandchildren, Allyssa, Ashley, Cote, Tyler, Kyle, Jessica and Kristen, along with many nieces nephews and cousins.
At Brenda’s request, there will be no calling hours and services will be private and held at the convenience of her family.
