Brian K. Newcomb, 22, resident of New Ipswich, NH died at his home unexpectedly on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Brian was born on April 16, 1993, in Weymouth, MA, a son of Keith and Sheryl (Kelliher) Newcomb.
He grew up in the Hanover and Townsend, MA area and graduated from Merrimack Educational Collaborative, of Chelmsford, MA. He most recently became a resident of New Ipswich, NH with his parents and siblings.
Brian was employed for UPS as a package handler and enjoyed working with his co-workers. He also worked with his father and brothers in the family construction business. When not working, Brian enjoyed online gaming, drawing, swimming and spending time with “The Farm” animals. Brian’s favorite nighttime activity was sitting in his hot tub with the fire pit blazing, a cigar in one hand and a drink in the other. Brian’s personality shined brightest around his family. Always wanting to play a game or watch a comedy special. Humor was Brian’s outlet. He was most recently overjoyed with the new title of, Uncle Brian. Family was his everything.
Brian was pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather, John Kelliher
In addition to his loving parents, Brian, is survived by his Sister and Brother-in-law, Jennifer and Nicholas Bachman and their children Grayson and Madelyn of Melbourne, FL, Sister’s, Holly Newcomb, Emily Newcomb; Brother’s, Eric Newcomb and Joshua Levesque all of New Ipswich, NH. Maternal Grandmother Faye Kelliher of Weymouth, MA. Paternal Grandparents George and Carole Newcomb of Weymouth, MA. Brain with also be remembered by all of his Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Services: Calling Hours will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH. A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 School Street, Townsend, MA, All are asked to meet at Church. In memory of Brian, his family will be wearing a touch of red, which was his favorite color. All attending the wake or funeral are encouraged to do the same.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in Brian's name to The NEADS Foundation. Select the Donate button on the website, www.neads.org, in the comment box please type, In Memory of Brian Newcomb. When Brian was Confirmed he chose the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. This foundation trains dogs to help individuals with special needs. The family chose this foundation specifically for Brian's love of all animals.
Brain will forever be remembered for his heart of gold, gentle nature and unconditional love.
