Dallas, TexasC. Robert (Bob) Young, 87, husband, father, and friend extraordinaire, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 23, 2011, and was reunited with his high school sweetheart Lorae, wife of 57 blissful years and mother of their loving children; his parents, our Lord and Savior, and numerous others from a life extremely well lived.Bob was born in Dallas on December 30, 1923, son of the late Reuben (Papa) and (Mama) Mary E. Young. Bob graduated from North Dallas High School in 1941, and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1945. Bob owned the C. Bob was an Executive Board Member Commander of the Texas Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Maccabbees, a Lecturer in SMU's Insurance Department and a member of Masons Trinity Valley Lodge in Dallas. Faith, loyalty, honesty, loving, affectionate, tenaciously prolific, combined with an infectiously mischievous sense of humor, were but a few of Bobby's many attributes to the end. He was forever finding smiles in others, through whatever means necessary, even if only with a blink. Bob was Papa Bear to 9 grandchildren, including Michelle Cournoyer of Jaffrey and 13 great grandchildren, including Alicia and Garrett Cournoyer of Jaffrey.
