Charlena E. Higgins

Charlena Edna Higgins, 87, of Newfane, VT died on April 26, 2016 at BayState Trauma Center, Springfield, MA as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile crash in Dummerston, VT. Charlena, the daughter of the late Donald and Katherine (Dickens) Hodgdon, loving wife of the late Clyde Everett Higgins is survived by her two sons, Jeff and his wife Linda Higgins of Bennington, NH and Bruce and his wife Beth Higgins of Hartford City, IN. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great granchildren, all living in New England. Charlena was the oldest of 14 children and she loved all of her brothers and sisters a great deal. She was a great housewife and homemaker. She loved to garden, and well known for putting one a great meal. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In honoring her request, there will be no services at this time.
