Claudette M. Hubley

Claudette M. Hubley, 88, of Greenville, NH, passed away on June 5, 2024, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

Claudette was born in Lawrence, MA, on June 14, 1935, a daughter to the late Albert and Mary Rose (Allain) Dube.

Claudette attended and graduated class of 1953 from St. Anne High School in Lawrence, MA. Claudette attended Catholic schools throughout all her education and was a devout Catholic all her life. Claudette enjoyed singing in the choir and playing piano. She was an artist and notably painted a beautiful portrait of the home she and her late husband, John, built in New Ipswich, NH.

Claudette had a green thumb and was a member of Merrimack Valley African Violet Society for many years. During her later years Claudette loved playing bingo both in the summers spent in New Hampshire and winters in Florida with her many friends. Claudette played many roles, but arguably her favorite was "Nana” to her grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures, one of her favorite things being enjoying a meal out and time spent with loved ones, especially if it included fried seafood and ice cream for dessert.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John D. Hubley in 2006, her granddaughter Elizabeth Rose Caron in 1990, her sister Elaine Joncas in 2023, and two brothers-in-law Arthur Joncas in 2024, and Richard Bergeron in 2021.

She will be forever remembered by her two daughters, Sheree Miller and her husband Frederick of Mapleton, ME, and Kathy Caron and her husband Kristopher of Greenville, NH, her two sons, Warren Kelley and his wife Doreen of Hampton Falls, NH, and Sean Hubley and his wife Shauna of Plaistow, NH, her two sisters Marlene Bergeron of Seabrook, NH, and Audrey Charest and her husband Ronald of Hampstead, NH, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her extended Florida families – The Thomas, Potter, Bowman and Robert families, who were always by her side caring for her without hesitation.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 15 High Street, Greenville, NH 03048. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps will officiate.
