Constance L. Rehak, 70, of New Ipswich, NH, passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2023, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. 

She was born on April 22, 1953, in Schenectady, NY, daughter to Rudolph and Gertrude Rehak. She grew up in upstate New York and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1972.  

After high school, Connie moved to New England and was well loved by many in her community with ties to other organizations around town including the Children’s Fair of New Ipswich as well as organizing and leading the Girl Scouts in the area for a time. She was never a stranger with the PTO and always willing to contribute towards the community.

Constance was always fond of the outdoors and she would often be found in the garden tending her beloved flowers and plants. for those that will remember her as family, she was gentle and caring yet firm in her guidance and knowledge. She always brought out the light on a cloudy day and saw the potential in everything and because of this she will be missed greatly by family and friends alike.

She is predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Gertrude Rehak and her brother Ronald Rehak who passed away 10 months to the day earlier in 2022.

Constance is survived by her husband of 41 years, John P. Cook, her children; Jason Rehak-Cook of Fort Myers, Florida and grandson Blake as well as Cortney Scott of Townsend, MA and her husband Brian and granddaughters Riley and Taylor and grandson Trevor. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Ruby, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
