DANA F. RYAN, 73, of Indian Ridge, Contoocook, formerly of Rindge, died Monday January 1,2007 at the CRVNA Hospice House in Concord following a long illness.

He was born December 14,1933 in Boston MA son of the late Joseph and Lillian (O'™Brien) Ryan.

He had attended Charlestown (MA) schools.

Mr. Ryan served with the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959, and was a member of the American Legion Post #81 of Contoocook.

He was employed with the Coop Bank of Milford retiring in 1995.

He had lived in Rindge before moving to Contoocook in 1995.

He enjoyed reading and driving through the countryside enjoying farms and horses.

He was a communicant of St. Peter'™s Church in Concord.

He is survived by his wife of nine years Olive (Fox) Ryan of Contoocook; two daughters Robin Norcross of Derry and Kim Cooper of Raymond; one grandson and four granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, two sisters and two brothers, Dorothy Olenchak, Janet Newton, Joseph Ryan and Arnold Ryan, predeceased him.

Friends may call from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Thursday at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) in Jaffrey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 1:00PM in St. Patrick Church 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor, will officiate.

Spring burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.
