Darlene Jean Taylor

Darlene J. Taylor, 53, of Pine Acres Lane, Dublin, died Saturday September 5, 2009 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident earlier in Rindge.

She was born March 25, 1956 in Springfield VT, daughter of the late John and Marcia (Jordan) Boutwell. She was a 1974 graduate of ConVal High School in Peterborough.

For the past thirty years she has been employed at the New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough.

Darlene enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, motorcycling and last winter she rediscovered her love of snowmobiling.

She is survived by her three sisters, Carolyn Pockett of Harrisville, Charlotte Galbraith and her husband, Peter, of Greenfield, Jeannette Olivo of Port Richey, Fla; two brothers John Boutwell and his wife Helen, of Farmington CT, Raymond Boutwell and his wife Joyce of Rowe, Mass; an Aunt May Newell of Claremont; many nieces, nephews and cousins; also her special friend Myles Davis of Wendell, Mass.

In lieu of flowers, Darlenes family has requested the memorial contributions be made to the Marty Taylor Scholarship Fund, c/o Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, Post Office Box 2, Jaffrey New Hampshire 03452, or to the Monadnock Humane Society, Post Office Box 678, West Swanzey, NH 03469

Private burial in her parents lot at the Dublin Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

A time of remembrance and sharing of memories, for family and friends, will be held on Thursday September 10, 2009 at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) Jaffrey, from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM.
