David A. Potter

David A. Potter, 58, resident of Marlborough, NH died at his home on March 20, 2018 after a sudden illness.

He was born on May 6, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of late Earl and Rosemary (Walter) Potter.

David was a warm and gentle person. He was very devoted to his wife and home. and beloved dog Emma. He enjoyed the outdoors, and in the summer time he would be seen out in his garden getting rid of every last weed there was. He enjoyed fishing with his best friend Dale Sanford, and especially loved laughing at him when Dale got skunked. He also loved camping with Doreen early in their marriage. He loved listening to his music, and Pink Floyd was his favorite group. He had worked previously at American Steel in Greenfield as a welder by trade, before retiring. The fourth of July was a great scene at his house, as he loved his fireworks.

He is survived by his World, his wife of 17 years, Doreen. He also leaves behind his aforementioned love, Emma. Sisters Mary, Amy, Cheryl (and her husband Danny). Brothers Michael (and wife Lynn), Alan (and girlfriend Jane). In laws Ron and Christy Menard, Sr. Brother in laws Ron Menard, Jr (and wife Elaine) and Kevin (and wife Tammy). His special aunt and uncle, Onnie and Norma Herk of Fitzwilliam, NH. Also surviving are 8 nephews, 3 Nieces, 3 Grand Nephews, and 1 Grand Niece.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH. A liturgy of word will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of the St. Patrick’s Parish, Jaffrey, NH.
