David William Hill, 58, of Jaffrey, formerly of Rindge, went to Heaven Thursday, March 4, 2021, in the comfort of his home, after a long battle with declining health.
He was born in Peterborough on August 16, 1962, the son of Donald J and Elizabeth M (Lehto) Hill. He attended Mascenic Regional High School.
He worked for over 20 years for Famm Steel, formerly Monadnock Fabricators.
He was a long-time member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church on Goen Road in New Ipswich and Hope Fellowship of Jaffrey. He enjoyed going fishing, taking road trips and cars in general. He loved trips to Cape Cod, and just spending time with his children and family members. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by his father: Donald J Hill of Lantana,FL; his children: Karissa Bailey and her husband Cory of Navarre, FL, Austin Hill and his wife Carinda of Rindge, Jordan Hill and his wife Raakel of Rindge, Dalton Hill of Jaffrey, Braeden Hill of Jaffrey and Evan Hill of Jaffrey; their mother Heather M Hill of Jaffrey; his siblings: Kathy Kuusisto and her husband Dan of Inman, SC, Michael Hill, Deborah Desrosiers and her husband Rodney, Virginia Lambert, Shirley Henault and her husband Benjamin, Kimberly Hill, James Hill and his wife Sharon all of New Ipswich, Edward Hill and his wife Lois of Rindge,, Daniel Hill and his wife Heather of Trinity NC and Dawna Valitalo and her husband Kevin of Lake Worth, FL; as well as three grandchildren: Arie, Creed and Rafe Hill of Rindge. Several nieces and nephews along with dear friends. He was predeceased by his mother: Elizabeth M Hill, and two brothers: Ronald Hill and Steven Hill, brother-in-law David Lambert and nephew Brandon Kuusisto.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 am, at the Apostolic Lutheran Church, 117 Goen Rd, New Ipswich, NH 03071. There will be an hour of visitation, from 10:00 until 11:00, before the funeral. Burial will take place at a later date in the spring.
