Dean E. Simmon

Rindge, NH Dean E. Simmon, 64, of Lord Brook Road in Rindge NH, formerly of Scituate MA, died suddenly Thursday April 7, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident in Hingham MA on his way to work.

He was born July 10, 1946 in Quincy MA, son of David A. and Madalyn (Meisner) Simmon. He spent most of his life in Scituate until moving to Rindge eight years ago.

Mr. Simmon was a graduate of Scituate High School and had attended Bentley College.

At the time of his death he was employed as manager of the paint department at Hingham Lumber Co. in Cohasset, MA where he had worked for the past twenty-five years.

In his younger years Dean enjoyed woodworking, however most cherished to him was the time spent with family.

He is survived by his sister Helen A. Russell of Rindge, NH; a brother Bruce A. Simmon of North Carolina; his half brothers David Simmon and Richard Simmon; his two nieces Melissa Norman and Heather Russell; his nephews Carl Russell, Jr., Eric Simmon and Robert Simmon; six great nieces and nephews. He also will be greatly missed by his extended family at Hingham Lumber.
