Debrah A Charlonne

Debrah Ann Charlonne, 63, a lifelong resident of Jaffrey, died early Monday morning, November 6, 2017, in the comfort of her home, after a brief period of failing health.

She was born on March 7, 1954, in Peterborough, the daughter of Donald E and Stella ( Pelkey ) Burnham. She grew up in Jaffrey and attended Conant High School, Having to put High School on hold for a number of years; she proudly went back to school and earned her diploma, from ConVal High School with the Class of 1995.

On May 25, 1991, she married Vernon Earl Charlonne, in a ceremony at the United Church of Jaffrey.

She worked for D.D. Bean in Jaffrey for nearly 25 years, and then Milipore for a couple years before she went into business for herself doing housework and cleaning for local families.
She was a dedicated coupon clipper, always on the lookout for a good deal. She enjoyed shopping. She also enjoyed going to the beach, and the lobster meal that followed. Mostly, she cherished being involved in her children’s lives.

She is survived by her husband, of 26 years: Vernon Earl Charlonne, of Jaffrey; Her children: Christopher Lee Eaton of Rindge, Rebecca Lynn Eaton of Telford, TN, Kyle Wayne Martin of Jaffrey, Lori Lake and her significant other, Durrell Dukes of Fitzwilliam, and Patricia Roy and her husband Jeffrey Roy, Sr. of Allenstown, NH; her father: Donald E. Burnham of Clinton, ME; her siblings: Cheryl Ann Pelletier and her husband Bruce of Jaffrey, Theda Ann Cogley and her husband James of China, ME and Robert Earle Burnham and his wife Kelly of Durham, ME.; eight grandchildren: Drew McElroy, Alyssa Eaton, Anthony Eaton, Meagan Burkhardt, Lucas Burkhardt, Brenden Roy, Trevor Roy and Joslynn Roy, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her granddog: Griffin.

She was predeceased by her mother: Stella Heil and a brother Wayne Lewis Burnham.
An hour of visitation will be held at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River St, Jaffrey, on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 10, at 11:00, immediately following the visitation.
