Diana I. Di Marco

Diana I. Di Marco, 72, of Hubbard Hill Road in Rindge died Monday January 3, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Healthcare Center in Jaffrey following a courageous six month battle with failing health.


She was born January 7, 1938 in Richmond, Maine daughter of the late Daryl and Carlene (Terrell) Giberson. She graduated from Richmond High School and had attended the University of Maryland.Mrs. Di Marco had served in the United States Army, first with the NSA at Fort Mead, Maryland and later in Germany.She was an avid reader who loved the out-of-doors, gardening and animals of all kinds, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with family.



She is survived by her husband of fifty years Leonard J. Di Marco of Rindge; her daughter Andrea Bowhannon and her husband Geoff of Keene; her sister Susan Brennen of Ottawa, Canada; two brothers Mark Giberson of Ottawa, Canada and Bruce Giberson of South Harpswell, ME.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Emma Rose Bowhannon.

Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may have a Mass said for the repose of her soul or a donation may be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Road, Swanzey NH 03446-3416.

Private burial in Hillside Cemetery, Rindge will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Saturday January 8, 2011 at St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor will officiate.
