Donald Blanchette

DONALD D-DUB BLANCHETTE, 49, of Union Street in West Peterborough, died Monday May 21, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a sudden illness. He was born on December 15, 1957 in Peterborough, son of Donald E. and Patricia (Charlonne) Blanchette. He attended Con-Val High School as a member of the class of 1976 and has been a life long resident of West Peterborough. At the time of his death he was working as a truck driver for Park Construction in Fitzwilliam. He had also previously driven for Harris Construction, Belletetes and Carroll Concrete. He was a member of the John Humiston Post #11 Sons of the American Legion in Jaffrey. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and had attended numerous motorcycle events including Bike Week in Laconia. He is survived by his mother Patricia Charlonne-Dyer of West Peterborough; his daughter Melissa Blanchette of West Peterborough; two sons Donald S. Blanchette of Peterborough and Jeremy J. Blanchette of West Peterborough; a granddaughter Olivia Jade Blanchette of Peterborough; his sister Brenda L. Blanchette of West Peterborough; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and close friends. His father predeceased him. Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 South) in Jaffrey on Friday May 25, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
