Donald G. Pyke

Donald G. Pyke, 60, of Rindge died peacefully on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 after several lengthy illnesses. His family extends grateful thanks to friends for their love and support.

Don was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 11, 1957, son of the late Donald and Ruth (McQuilla) Pyke. He was a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School in Jersey City and Franklin Pierce University in Rindge.

Don loved music, sports, family and friends, and always enjoyed helping others.

Don is survived by his wife, Liza (Ascani) Pyke; his daughters, Angela Pyke and Jenna Doubleday; his son Shawn McClary; his sisters, Irene R. Pyke and Claudette Paage, as well as a large extended family and many dear friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to Calling Hours which will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, (Route 202 South) in Jaffrey, NH.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the first Congregational Church of Rindge, 6 Payson Hill Rd, Rindge, NH 03461. Rev. David Jadlocki, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in Saint Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Don requested memorial contributions be made in his name to the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance, PO Box 107, Jaffrey, NH 03452, or to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
