Dorothy E. Robichaud, 82, formerly of Greenville and Dublin, NH died on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough after a period of failing health.
Dorothy was born in Peterborough, NH on May 8, 1931, daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Thibault) Chouirnard. She was raised and educated locally.
She had retired from New Hampshire Ball Bearing in1985 after working there as a machinist throughout her entire career.
Dorothy enjoyed camping and knitting, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had been an auxiliary member of Greenville’s LeClair Caron Pelletier American Legion Post #13.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother Robert Lafreniere.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and her husband Yvan Duval of Dublin, her grandson Marc Duval of Billerica, MA, her granddaughter Jennifer Loeber and great-grandchildren Ryan and Samantha Loeber, all of Jaffrey; her sister in law, Laurette Lafreniere of Greenville and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey, NH. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps will be the Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy’s family would prefer memorial donations be made in her name to the Good Neighbor Fund, P.O. Box 486, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
