Eileen R. Huber, 70, of Rindge, NH passed away on October 15, 2023, surrounded by family in the comfort of her home.
She was born on July 3, 1953, in Johnstown, PA, a daughter to Walter and Charlotte Wieserman. Eileen grew up in Johnstown and attended the local grade schools before earning her GED. After obtaining her GED, she attended the Greater Johnstown Vocational Institute where she earned a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Shortly after high school Eileen met Fred Huber. They got married on September 16, 1972, in Johnstown, PA. Together they grew their family with the birth of their three sons: Aaron, Steve and Danny.
She practiced as a nurse for Mercy Hospital in Johnstown, PA for 15 years before migrating north to Wallingford, VT before relocating to Rindge, NH where she has lived for the last twenty-one years.
Eileen was an extraordinarily creative and witty person. Her dry and often dark sense of humor paired with her impeccable ability to adopt any accent kept others entertained with much laughter. One could say she was very fluid in the language of sarcasm. She had a magnetic way with people, a true social butterfly people enjoyed being around.
When Eileen wasn’t entertaining others, she would practice her creativity painting beautiful landscapes. She has always carried a competitive approach to the passions she held. The competitive nature could be seen when she played or watched hockey games or when she was playing games like Diablo and the Legend of Zelda.
She was a woman of ferocious resilience from a very early in her life.
Eileen is predeceased by her parents; Walter and Charlotte Wieserman, her sister, Ruth Henry, her brother, Bill Wieserman and her brother-in-law, Bud Henry.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Frederick Huber of Rindge, NH, her sons; Aaron Huber of Lebanon, OR, Steve Huber of Rindge, NH, and Danny Huber of Charlton, MA, her grandchildren; Avalon Huber of Elsmere, KY, Harleigh Huber of Charlton, MA, Keira Huber of Disputanta, VA, Asher Huber of Lebanon, OR and Brayden Huber of Lebanon, OR, her best friends; Diane Beck of Johnstown, PA and Gail Drzewiecki of Bennington, VT and her beloved pup Piper as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
