GARY H. GRAHAM, 74, of Route 119 in Fitzwilliam, died Friday April 11, 2008 at his residence following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 3, 1933 in Burlington MA, son of the late Herman and Winifred (Johnston) Graham.
Gary grew up on a farm in Burlington. His grandfather and uncle owner one of the largest truck farms in New England. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1951.
Following high school Gary served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
After being discharged from the military service he met and married the Love of his life Together they had two children which he considered Gods gift to the Family
He worked as a machinist for a few years, then in 1969 he and his wife bought a farm in Littleton MA.
Gary was in his glory. He and his wife Pat, along with the children, ran the farm and stand for 13 years.
With the children grown, it was time to move on.
Gary had always talked about a log home. So when he sold the farm, and bought the property in Fitzwilliam, he built his Log Cabin in the woods of New Hampshire, where he has lived for the past twenty-nine years.
He and Pat managed the former Doodys convenience store and gas station in Fitzwilliam for several years.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years Pat Graham; his daughter Tammy J. Griffin and her husband David of Jaffrey; his son Gary Chris Graham and his wife Laura of Hyannis, MA; a sister Jacqueline Young of Woburn, MA; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Winchendon (MA) Veterans Cemetery.
As per Garys request, there will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor will officiate.
