Gerald 'Gerry' Kunst, III

Gerald ‘Gerry’ Kunst, III, 43, of New Ipswich, NH, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Gerry was born in Marlborough, MA on June 23, 1974, the son of Gerald Kunst, Jr. and Pamela Jenson. He was a 1993 graduate of Minuteman High School in Lexington, MA. Gerry had previously lived in the Massachusetts towns of Stow, Marlborough and Pepperell, and most recently had lived in Greenville and New Ipswich.

For many years Gerry had been the commercial HVAC service manager at Merrimack Valley Corp. in Methuen, MA. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, snowmobiling playing poker with his buddies, going to concerts and playing his guitar.

He and his wife were married on February 21, 1998 in Groton, MA and together they had raised two wonderful children as well as many pets including Bailey the dog and Oreo, Bella and Rocky, the cats.

In addition to his parents and his step-mother Amy, Gerry is survived by his loving wife of more than 20 years, Deborah Wilfert, his daughter Julia, and his son Michael, all of New Ipswich; his sisters, Linda Gothie of Stow, MA, Erica and Nichole; his brother, Jack of Stow, MA; his sisters-in-law, Alaura Wilfert of Hanson, MA and Sarah Wilfert of Acton, MA; his brother-in-law Nathan Wilfert of Acton, MA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, including his best friend Brian Stonebraker.

Family and friends are warmly invited to Celebrate Gerry’s Life on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Souhegan Country Club, at 290 Old Country Road in New Ipswich, NH 03071.

Gerry’s wife, Debbie, will now have to make it on her own. She has recently branched out as a freelance hair stylist at a new salon and is in the process of building clientele.
