Rindge NH GERTRUDE I. BLAKE, 90 of Coot Bay Drive, Rindge, died Thursday January 18, 2007 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough following a period of failing health.She was born July 27, 1916 in Fitchburg, MA daughter of the late John W. and Helga (Forsberg) Bock.She was a 1934 graduate of Fitchburg (MA) High School.Mrs. Blake was a former employee of Margolin Pocket Book Co. of Fitchburg.Mrs. Blake had been a summer resident of Rindge since 1938 and moved to Rindge from Fitchburg in 1969.She was a member of the Fitchburg Camera Club, a charter member of the Monomonock Lake Sailing Association, an active member of the Rindge Womans Club. She enjoyed gardening and craft groups. She also enjoyed traveling and reading and especially enjoyed time spent with family.Mrs. Blake was a former member of Christ Episcopal Church of Fitchburg and was a member of the First Congregational Church and Society of Rindge. Her husband of 45 years Roland E. Blake died July 25, 1983.Family members include her two daughters Carol E. Donavan and Linda B. Tower both of Rindge; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother Bernard Kelley of Fitchburg MA; nieces and nephews.Three brothers Carl W. Bock, Robert Kelley and Edward Kelley predeceased her.

Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery Rindge.
Her family warmly welcomes friends to call Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) in Jaffrey NH.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00AM in the First Congregational Church and Society in Rindge Center. Rev James Melhorn, pastor will officiate.
