Harry A. Gilman, 81, of Country Meadows Drive in Rindge, died peacefully Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Health Care Center in Jaffrey, following a period of failing health.
He was born February 27, 1930 in East Weare, NH, son of the late Frank and Hazel (Hodgman) Gilman.
He was a 1948 graduate of Weare High School and had attended Concord Commercial College as well as the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Virginia.
Harry worked at the New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co in Peterborough for nineteen years. He retired in 1991.
He was an active member of the Jaffrey Bible Church. He was also Past Master of the Halestown Grange in Weare.
Harry has been a resident of Rindge since 2000 and had previously lived in Jaffrey for twelve years and Hillsboro and Antrim before that.
He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Marilyn (Pinkney) Gilman of Rindge; a brother Roger Gilman of New Boston; a sister Lois Kenniston of Loudon; numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 9, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Jaffrey Bible Church, Route 124, Jaffrey. Pastor Brent Charles will officiate.
