Iona S. French, 95, a longtime resident of Peterborough, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Elms in Milford, NH after a period of failing health.

Mrs. French was born on May 8, 1921 in Port Medway, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of the late Leroy and Matilda (Wamboldt) Selig. She began her education in Nova Scotia before immigrating to the United States in 1929. She then attended schools in Massachusetts & New Hampshire and became a US Citizen in 1954. Iona is survived by her daughter, Deardra Gladu of Keene, NH, and Donald’s three children, their families, and a large extended family

At Mrs. French’s request, there will be no calling hours or formal services at this time.
