Jane M. Rollins

Jane Mae Rollins, 82, formerly of Jaffrey, NH, died peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Keene at Genesis Center after period of failing health.

Jane was born in Warner, NH on September 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (Cole) Dorr.  She had attended schools in Warner and entered the working world early in her life.  She will always be remembered as a very hard worker, having worked at the mills at Noone Falls in Peterborough before working for over 40 years as a Machine Operator at D.D. Bean & Sons in Jaffrey.

Jane also enjoyed the outdoors, walking, contemplating life, and seeing the many beautiful sites in nature, but especially loved spending time with her family.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, siblings, her son Kenneth, and her granddaughter Heather.

She is survived by her daughters, Rose Pedersen and her husband Russell, and Tina Roy and her husband Steve, all of Jaffrey, and by her sons, Orvis Rollins and his wife Marie, of Troy NH, James Coelho and his wife Debra of Rhode Island, Allen French of Brookline, NH and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

At Jane’s request, there will be no calling hours or public services at this time.

Her family will gather together for a small graveside service at their convenience.
