Janet Morin Donnelly

After a brief illness, Janet Morin Donnelly, 79, of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at the Monadnock Community Hospital, on September 19, 2024. This was the same hospital she was born in along with her niece and great-niece.

Janet was born on March 4, 1945, in Peterborough, New Hampshire, to the late John Joseph and Eva (Morin) Donnelly.

Janet spent her youth living in Bennington, New Hampshire and attended school at Conval. After this, she would go on to live in Peterborough, New Hampshire, which was the beginning of her career in 1970 where she would work for Honeywell and soon after that New Hampshire Ball Bearing for 36 years straight. She would eventually retire in 2006 when her great-niece Shae Lynn Coll was born.

Janet had many hobbies, such as playing in the snow, as well as visiting yard and garage sales. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, watching the Red Socks games, and going to the beach. The only vacation she ever took was at Old Orchard Beach in Maine which her niece, great-niece, and extended family brought her on which involved walking the shoreline, eating lobster, and taking many photos to remember this core memory.

In addition to both her parents, Janet is predeceased by her sister Yvonne Donnelly.

Janet is survived by her beloved sister, Patricia ‘Patty’ Donnelly of Jaffrey NH, with whom she spent the majority of her life by her side. She is also survived by her nephew Matthew Donnelly and Jan’s extended loved one Keir Hill of Litchfield, NH, her niece Kelly Coll(Donnelly) and her fiance David Christan, as well as her great-niece Shae Lynn Coll all of Fitzwilliam, NH.

Janet’s memory will always live free inside the hearts of her family members and friends who experienced so many heartwarming memories, tears shed together, and just living life's adventures.
