Jeannine Somero

Jeannine Somero, 65, of New Ipswich, passed away on April 18, 2023, at UMASS Memorial Health Alliance Leominster, MA, with her family by her side. She was born in Gardner, MA, on August 6, 1957, the daughter of Wilfred and Jeanne (Royer) Desrosier.

Jeannine graduated from Mascenic High School in 1975. She was employed at Brookstone and Millard Group for many years and at SNHS Greenville Falls in Greenville, NH, until her retirement.

She loved her family very much and loved her camp on Pratt Pond. Christmas was very special to Jeannine, making it memorable for everyone. She loved planting flowers and took great pride in them. She was a member of the Greenville American Legion Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Somero, and their daughter Ashley, her two sisters, Elise Roberts and Ginnette Cullinane, and her dog Bruschi.

Jeannine is survived by her life partner Joseph Mclellan of New Ipswich, NH, and her sibling Tammy (Pierre) Desrosiers of Greenville, NH. Nieces Melonie Fetterman and her husband Jay of Landenberg, PA. Heather Roberts and her life partner Frank of Monroe, ME. Darcie Morin and her husband Andrew of Rindge, NH. Jamie Cullinane and her fiancé Chance of Madbury, NH. Jeramy Desrosiers of Greenville, NH. Melissa Horsley of Greenville, NH. As well as her great-nieces and nephews. Alydia Brillant. Emma, Grace, Matthew Fetterman. Amberlynn, Alexis, McKenzie, Collin Morin. Aila Desroisers. Elizabeth and John Horsley, and her dog Meadow.

Everyone is warmly invited to a celebration of life on August 5, 2023, at 1 PM at the camp at 10 Middle Pratt Pond Road, New Ipswich, NH . Donations can be made to your personal charity under Jeannine’s name.
