Jill B. Randlett, 75, of Peterborough, NH, passed away on March 19, 2025, at Monadnock Community Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones and her two beloved Great Pyrenees, Loper and Luna.

Born on December 12, 1949, in Rhode Island, Jill was the daughter of George A. Randlett and Bettina M. Randlett.

Education was always a cornerstone of Jill’s life. She graduated from Wilton High School in 1967, and in 1968, she completed her studies at Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Jill went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management from Metro State College.

Jill’s career was marked by dedication and hard work. She began as an Executive Secretary at Sanders Headquarters in Nashua, NH. In 1970, she relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she worked as a Secretary for Healthcare Education Welfare. Later, Jill joined the Mitre Corporation, where she spent 32 years working on significant projects for the FAA, Nuclear Detection Staff, and IRS. In addition to her professional work, Jill was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, offering her help in California after wildfires and in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

In 1987, Jill moved from Colorado to Virginia and then to West Virginia in 1988, where she purchased a log cabin and lived until her retirement in 2017. After retiring, she returned to New Hampshire, settling in her dream home in Peterborough and quickly becoming a beloved member of the community, where she found lasting friendships with Kim and Butch Murray, Paul Kachinsky and Keith Hall, Doris and Stuart Kelley, and “The Hunters” Judd, Steve, Rob, Bobby, Tony, and Dan.

Jill had a passion for travel, visiting 49 of the 50 U.S. states and multiple Canadian provinces, with Alaska holding a special place in her heart.

A woman of loving and free spirit, Jill was known for her sense of humor, courage, and love for animals. She was always ready for an adventure, whether it was a road trip or new challenge. Her bold and brave nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
