John N. Gaspar

John N. Gaspar, 55, a resident of Jaffrey, NH died on January 4, 2021 after a sudden illness at the Lahey Hospital, Burlington, MA.

He was born on May 26, 1965 in Beverley, MA a son of Ruth Gaspar and the late Norman Gaspar.

John grew up on the North Shore of Mass and graduated from Claude H. Patton Vocational school in 1983. He then went on to work in the construction field. He worked for Welch Construction and later TCD construction. John married Penny Stockdale on September 11, 2004 in Gardner, MA. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and his puppy Lilly. He and Penny enjoyed going camping together, listening to music and meeting new people wherever they went. John thrived on making sure his job was done right the first time and on time!

In addition to his father, Norman, John was predeceased by his son, Michael Post.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Stockdale – Gaspar, his mother, Ruth Gaspar, brother Dwight Gaspar, his children, Alisha Fisher and her husband James and their daughter, Emma Fisher, Ray Stockdale and his wife Meghan McCarthy and their children, Natalie and Bruce Stockdale, Randy Gaspar and his wife, Hannah and their daughter, Lena Gaspar and Jessica Gaspar and her husband Gary Ralston and their son Boston Ralston and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

SERVICES: A walk through visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Conant Cemetery, Stratton Road, Jaffrey, NH.

Masks and Social Distancing are required for both the visitation and the graveside services.

An attempt will be made to livestream the events for everyone’s comfort and safety.
