John "Bear" Richards

John Cecil Richards, 67, of Fitzwilliam, NH, passed away on February 4, 2024. He was born September 21, 1956, in Bridgeport, CT.

He was known to many as "Bear.”

He was an excellent mechanic and he spent most of his life working and tinkering on trucks and cars.

He is survived by his son John (Katie} Richards of Rindge, NH, daughter Maria Richards of Allenstown, NH, daughter Jody Steele of Lebanon, NH, daughter Samantha Richards of Rindge, NH, and son Justin Cloutier. His mother Gladys Richards of Fitzwilliam, NH. His siblings, brother Francis Jr. of Fitzwilliam, NH, brother Edwin of Rindge, NH, sister Avalone of Winslow, ME, sister Cecile of Bangor, ME, sister Gloria of Cannan, VT, brother Gordon of Newport, VT and sister Victoria of ME, as well as three grandchildren, Kyle and Molly Richards and Brayden Davis, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Francis Richards, his sisters Katherine, Marie and Helen, and his brothers, Roger and William.

A burial service will take place in the spring.
