Judith Marie Bernier

Judith Marie Bernier, 66, of Jaffrey died suddenly Sunday April 19, 2015 at her residence.

She was born October 10, 1948 in Nashua, NH a daughter of the late Walter and Lucille (Lavoie) Bennett.

Judy spent her formative years in Dublin and had attended the former Peterborough High School.
She worked for a while at the NH Ball Bearing Co. in Peterborough before beginning her employment with D.D. Bean Company in Jaffrey where she worked for thirty years.

Judy enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, her many trips to Foxwoods and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter with whom she had lived Carol Purdy and husband George of Jaffrey; two sons Ernest Bernier and his wife Ann Marie of Dublin and Scott Bernier and his companion Jo Ann Duclos of Largo, Florida; ten Grandchildren; four great grandchildren with one more expected soon; four brothers Anthony Bennett and Clarence Bennett both of Jaffrey, Carl Bennett of Dublin, and Edward Bennett of Oakwood GA; four sisters Jaqueline Lucas and Susan Porter both of Jaffrey, Catherine Berry of St. Petersburg, FL and Pauline Ouellette of Dublin; several nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three sister’s Annie Pelkey, Mary Hartwell and Catherine Berry as well as four brother’s Walter Bennett Jr., Stanley I. Bennett, Fred Bennett and Albion Bennett.

As per Judith’s request there will be no formal services at this time. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
