Karen Yvonne Melodino

Karen Yvonne Melodino, 24, of Main Street in Rindge, died at her home on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

She was born on August 7, 1983 in Peterborough, the daughter of Ray and Carla (Huff) Haskell.
Karen had attended Conant High School in Jaffrey and had taken classes at Mt. Wachusetts Community College in Gardner, MA.

She has been a resident of Rindge for the past three months and had previously lived her entire life in Jaffrey.
She was a former employee of the New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co. in Peterborough.

Karen was a student of Tae Kwon Do. She enjoyed music and writing poetry, but most enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

In addition to her parents of Jaffrey, she is survived by her husband Daniel E. Melodino of Rindge; her son Dante A. Melodino also of Rindge; a sister Jennifer Haskell of Newport, Kentucky; two brothers, Andrew R. Haskell of Jaffrey and Brian M. Haskell of Brooklyn, New York; a niece; several aunts, uncles cousins and close friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Friday, August 10, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202 south ) in Jaffrey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Christian Outreach Church on North Street in Rindge.
Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery on Goddard Road in Rindge.
