Kurt Douglas Olin

Kurt Douglas Olin, 24, resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away unexpectedly April 12, 2016.
He was born on October 24, 1991 in Fitchburg, MA, son of Richard Olin and the late Jean (Goddard) Olin.

In addition to his mother, Jean, Kurt was predeceased by his grandparents, Evelyn Goddard and Lorraine Goddard of Rindge, NH and Chester Olin and wife Viola of Washington.

Kurt's life was filled with so many friends and relatives that loved him so much, including his girlfriend Allison Leone, father Richard Olin, siblings: brother Clayton and wife Sarah and their two daughters Alexis and Rakita; sisters Mollie and husband Noel and their children Jasmin Aubrey Bransen and Spencer and baby girl, Marcy and husband Joshua and their children Trayton, Kelsie and Aiden, Jodi and husband Andy and their children Noah, Denver and baby, Janella and husband Orion and daughter Brielle.

Kurt was a saucier at a restaurant in Fort Myers after working as a head chef at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater. Kurt had a passion for the culinary arts. He talked about someday owning his own restaurant. His dreams were big but his heart was BIGGER. Kurt had a contagious smile, was well known for his positive outlook and his love for others. He enjoyed the warm Florida breeze, sand in his toes, spending time with his girlfriend and their dog Loki, drawing, and talking with family.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Ashburnham Apostolic Lutheran Church, 315 Winchendon Rd. (Rte. 12) Ashburnham, MA 01430

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Ashburnham Apostolic Lutheran Church. Burial will follow the service at 2:00 pm at Hillside Cemetery on Goddard Road in Rindge NH.
