Laurie Jean McAneney

Laurie Jean McAneney, 62, of Jaffrey, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 3, 2018, in the comfort of her home, after a sudden illness.

She was born, in Peterborough, NH, on May 13, 1956, the daughter of William Francis and Regina Celina (Guillemette) McAneney. She graduated from Conval High School with the Class of 1974. She was a lifelong area resident.

While in high school, she was active in school sports. Those interests followed her into adulthood where she enjoyed watching the teams play.

She began working at New Hampshire Ball Bearing while in high school and retired in 2016.

She also enjoyed her pets, a cat and two birds.

She is survived by her sisters: Carol McAneney of Jaffrey, Shirley O’Connor of St. Petersburg, FL and Doreen Hall of Dunnellon, Fl; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother: Richard LaCourse.

Per the family’s request, there are no public calling hours. Services will be private.
