Laurie Mullett

Laurie Mullett, 69, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023 in Keene, NH.

She was born on May 19, 1954, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Pelkey) Brooks.

Laurie received her education locally and graduated from Monadnock High School in Swanzey in 1972. It was after this that Laurie found her calling in real estate. Laurie's passion led her to a successful career at Masiello (Better Homes and Gardens) Real Estate in Keene, where she served as a valued member of the team. Through her professionalism and unwavering commitment to her clients, Laurie established herself as a trusted and reliable realtor in the area.

She has a love for the area she grew up in, spending her time between Swanzey, Keene and Fitzwilliam, while also, understandably, spending her winters enjoying the Florida sun.

Laurie was also very well-travelled, having visited countless destinations all over the world, both leisurely and professionally.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Laurie found great fulfillment in being an active member of her community through the Elks and Emblem Clubs. She also had a love of shopping and had an inherent love for antiquing; she would spend countless hours searching for unique treasures. Above all, Laurie cherished her time spent with her beloved family. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons. Their bond was unbreakable, and Laurie's love for them was unmatched. In addition to her adoring sons, Laurie was also very proud to be a grandmother to Alyson, who brought immeasurable joy into her life.

In addition to her parents, Laure was preceded in death by her four siblings, Faith Aulis, Betty Sullivan, Gail Johnson, and Leonard Pelky.                    

Laurie is survived by her cherished sons, Reid Mullett (and his wife Holly), Ryan Mullett, and her granddaughter Alyson.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
