Linda A. Oja

January 23, 1944 — October 25, 2022

Linda A. (Cropper) Oja, 78, of Rindge, NH died peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough after a long illness.


Linda was born on January 23, 1944, in Lewiston, ME, the daughter of the late Roland Cropper and Ernestine (Tripp) Andrews. She was raised in Maine and was a 1962 graduate of Potter Academy in Sebago.


She moved to Massachusetts right after graduating and then settled in her home in New Hampshire where she has lived since 1964. Linda had worked for NCR before taking time at home with her youngest child. She returned to work and retired from NHBB after working for over 27 years, mainly in Human Resources. Through the years, Linda had grown to love playing Bingo, and 10-pin bowling in a league in Winchendon, but her family was her whole life and focus.


Linda is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert Oja, of Rindge, her two daughters, Jackie Hartwell of Santa Barbara, CA (husband Jamie) and Amy Marro of Rindge (husband Tony), her step-son, Darel Oja of New Ipswich (wife Roberta), her grandchildren, Shayna Hartwell of Santa Barbara, CA, Sarah Irish of Cornish, ME, Emma Caron and Mia Caron, both of Rindge, Drew Marro of Sarasota, FL, and Ethan Oja of New Ipswich, and by her extended family and many friends.


She was predeceased by her son, Ron Irish, Jr., her grandson, Eric Hartwell, and her late husband David Worcester.


There will be no calling hours or formal services at this time.
