Linda Duval, 73, passed away peacefully at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH, with her loving family by her side, on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Linda was born in Peterborough, NH, on May 31, 1951, the daughter of the late Roger and Dorothy (Robichaud) Vaillancourt. She was a 1968 graduate of Mascenic Regional High School. After this Linda found her calling as a nurse and spent a majority of her career at Monadnock Community Hospital.
Linda's career in nursing spanned several decades, during which she touched the lives of countless individuals and families. Her patients knew her not just for her exceptional skills but for her genuine warmth and kindness. Each day, she brought hope and comfort to those in need, exemplifying the noble qualities that define the nursing profession.
Linda spent most summers camping at Sevan Maples building memories with family and friends. Linda was an avid knitter and jewelry maker. Loved to make mittens for all the babies she knew.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband Yvan Duval. Linda will be greatly missed by her children, Marc Duval of Billerica, MA, Jennifer Loeber of Jaffrey, NH, her grandchildren Ryan and Samantha Loeber, and her great grandson Kane Martinez.
Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours which will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (US Rte. 202) Jaffrey, NH 03452.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 89 Main St, Jaffrey, NH 03452. Following the Mass a luncheon will be held upstairs at the Jaffrey Legion.
In lieu of flowers, Linda’s family would prefer memorial donations be made in her name to the Good Neighbor Fund, P.O. Box 486, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
Linda's life, though it has come to a close, will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Her contributions to her field and the kindness she shared with others are her lasting legacy.
