Lisa Mary Sliviak

Lisa Mary Sliviak, 62, of Jaffrey, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in the comfort of her home, with her family beside her, after a brief period of declining health.
She was born in Amesbury, MA, on June, 13, 1954, to Paul Joseph and Ann Elizabeth (Ustick) Stefanski. She was a 1973 graduate of Amesbury High School.
After high school she traveled extensively as a technician with a laser light show, working at concert and event venues all over the US.
She married Walter Carl Sliviak, in a ceremony in Tilton, NH, on June 27, 1987.
Together they called Jaffrey home for nearly the last 30 years.
Lisa was a tireless evangelist for God, and a woman of great faith. She was a longtime member of the Village Church of Swanzey. She was an accomplished horsewoman, enjoying cross country trail riding. In earlier years she was a talented athlete while in high school.
She is survived by her husband, of almost 30 years, Walter Sliviak of Jaffrey; two daughters: Anna Sliviak of Lafayette, CO, and Emily Sliviak of Cleveland, TN; four sons: Michale Sliviak and his wife Brittney of Jaffrey, Jason Sliviak and his wife Jennifer of Derry, Paul Sliviak and his wife Shalini of Portland, OR, and David Sliviak of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters: Paula Thole and her husband Elijah of Hampton, NH, Lynne Klosterman and her husband Steve of Arlington, MA, Ellen Leonard and her husband John of Danville, NH; four brothers: Mark Stefanski of Marlboro, MA, Eric Stefanski of Salisbury, MA, Joel Stefanski and his wife Mindy of Palmer, AK and John Stefanski of Talkeetna, AK; six grandchildren: Jasper, Juniper, Ellie, David, Shiane and Luke, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River St., Jaffrey, NH 03452. A time of visitation will be held an hour before the service from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
