Lon P. Quinn, 47, of Rindge, NH passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, on June 20, 2021 in his home in Rindge.
Lon was born on July 30, 1973 in Boston, MA, the son of Jerry W. Quinn and Elizabeth (Casey) Roman. Lon was a 1991 graduate of Conant High School in Jaffrey, and went on to earn his degrees in nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA, and UNH where he earned his BSN. Lon had been an ICU nurse for over 20 years, working in different hospitals, such as Cheshire Hospital in Keene, NH, Saint Elizabeth in Boston, and the last 18 years at Brigham and Women’s in Boston.
Lon will always be remembered for his wit and humor. He had a beautiful heart and always tried to help others. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and, most of all, he loved managing his ‘Hidden Well’ tree farm.
He was predeceased by his dad, Jerry W. Quinn, and by his step-dad, Bruce M. Roman.
Lon is survived by his mother Elizabeth ‘Tish’ Roman of Rindge, NH; his sister, Katrina Quinn of Penacook, NH and her children Devin Quinn of Northfield, NH, and Ayden and Eian Bailey, both of Penacook, NH. He also leaves behind his Uncle Joel and his Step-Grandmother, Eudine Quinn of Georgia, and his uncle Patrick Casey and his wife Claudia of Newmarket, NH. Lon will be missed by many close friends, especially Cindy Clapp of Goffstown, Norma Underhill of Pittsburg, NH, Dr. Jeremy Kirchoff and Carl Letourneau of Rindge.
A Celebration of Life will be held with light refreshments on July 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the First Congregational Church function hall, 10 Union Street, Milford, NH 03055
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lon’s name to Monadnock Kitty Rescue, PO Box 468, Jaffrey, NH 03452, or to Got Lunch, 6 Payson Hill Road in Rindge, NH, 03461.
