New Ipswich, NH Lorraine Anna (Maki) Desrosiers, 75, of Dark Lane Road in New Ipswich, died February 8, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital - Parkview in Rochdale, MA from complications of a stroke She was born in New Ipswich, NH on June 25, 1936, daughter of the late George and Helen (Hill) Maki, and had lived her entire life in New Ipswich. Throughout her life she was dedicated to her church and community. She worked with her husband of 54 years at their family-owned business in New Ipswich - Kens T.V. Appliance since 1972. Lorraine is known for her love of baking. She also enjoyed knitting and her cats. She was most proud of obtaining her GED later in life. Lorraine was predeceased by her brother George Maki, Jr. Affectionately known as Aunt Red to friends and family alike, she is survived by her husband Kenneth Desrosiers of New Ipswich, NH; her daughters Maureen Bailey of New Ipswich, NH and Donna Houle of Auburn, NH; her son Gary Desrosiers of Jaffrey, NH; four grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy White of Jaffrey, NH, and Sylvia Lawrence, Naomi Stone and Ruth Brouillette, all of New Ipswich, NH; her brothers, Wayne Maki of Bennington, NH and Roy Maki and David Maki, both of New Ipswich, NH; and many nieces nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A Christian Memorial Service to celebrate Lorraine’s life will be held at the Jaffrey Bible Church, 133 Turnpike Road (Rte. 124) Jaffrey, on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
