Lynn Mary Stewart

Lynn M. Stewart, 67, of Rindge, NH passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2023, finally winning a 10-year battle with breast cancer.

She was born May 9, 1955, in Peterborough, NH to William and Mildred (Renshaw) Sangermano. Lynn grew up locally, attending Saint Patrick School for grade school, later graduating from Conant High School in 1973.

After graduating Lynn met and married the love of her life, Michael Stewart on February 17, 1979. Together they raised their two children, Christopher and Lauren. Lynn was a devoted wife, who provided loving care and support to husband. She was a loving mother and the best Meme to her 4 grandchildren.

Lynn was a lifelong lover of horses and spent her childhood at the barn at Silver Ranch in Jaffrey. She loved it so much she worked there during high school. In her later years Lynn revisited her love for horses, owning several horses before finding her heart horse, Diamond, who still resides at Silver Ranch. She loved taking trail rides, teaching her grandchildren to ride, puttering around in her garden, and laying on the deck by the pool. She was a lifelong member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church.

She is predeceased by her father, William Sangermano, her mother Mildred Paradise, Aunt Vi, and Uncle Tony, along with many other aunts and uncles.

Lynn is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Michael Stewart, her children; Christopher and Christine Stewart of Rindge, NH, Lauren and Christopher Wilson of Hooksett, NH, her siblings; Tina Helstein of Jaffrey, NH, William (Joe) Sangermano of Jaffrey, NH, and Donna Barlow of Rindge, NH, her grandchildren; Shayla, Annabelle, and Holden Stewart of Rindge, NH and Ruby Wilson of Hooksett, NH, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
