MARCELLINE M. BRENNER, 94, of Woodland Heights, Peterborough died Saturday December 13, 2008 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough following a brief illness.
She was born July 8, 1914 in Standish, New York, daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Beausoleil) Lafontaine.
Better known as Marcie she has lived most of her life in Peterborough.
She was married to Harry Thomas Brenner who died April 2, 1984.
She was interested in different crafts, but she was noted for knitting beautiful sweaters and scarfs, as well as childrens hats and mittens.
Surviving family members include her sister Irene Norwood of Ft Myers, Florida; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Peterborough Fire Rescue Department, Summer Street, Peterborough NH 03458.
Spring burial will be at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge.
As per her request, there will be no calling hours or formal funeral services at this time.
