Marion Carol Pelletier

Sharon, NH Marion Pelletier, 72, of Turnpike Road, Sharon died Friday October 21, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon following a brief illness. She was born December 25, 1938 in Winchendon, MA daughter of the late Gedeminas and Allie (Walkama) Dunchus. Marion grew up in Winchendon and was a 1956 graduate of Murdock High School. She has been a resident of Sharon for the past forty two years. She retired from Millipore Corp in Jaffrey following twenty years of employment. She had previously worked at Independent Lock in Fitchburg, MA and for New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co. in Peterborough. Marion was an excellent seamstress and had made many items of clothing for family members, all without using store bought patterns. She was naturally gifted as an artist and enjoyed using this talent in decorating for the holidays. She was an avid video game player. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and was completely devoted to her grandchildren. Her husband of forty years, Andrew J. Pelletier III, died August 26, 2005. Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy Spencer of Nashua and Amy Pelletier of Sharon; her son Andrew J. Pelletier IV of Anchorage, Alaska; her grandchildren Patrick Sherlock Jr and Abigail Grace Sherlock both of Sharon; three sisters Helen Perley of New Brunswick Canada, Carol Caswell of Westminster MA and Elaine Crump of Bedford NH; her brother-in-law Stephen Crump; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-son Keith J. Pelletier on June 30, 1993 and also by her four brothers.

Friends and family are warmly invited to call at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) in Jaffrey on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00PM.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:00PM with burial in Conant Cemetery, to follow.
